Mykonos is undoubtedly an attractive place in Greece. It has the famous architectural church named Paraportiani. This church is the main feature of the castle district, which is the oldest area in town. In truth, this structure is a set of five small churches that were built over some time and was only finished during the seventeenth century. Mykonos is also home to its Archaeological Museum. This features ceramics, jewelry, marble sculptures that were recovered from several islands. Another treasure in Mykonos is the Aegean Maritime Museum. It displays an assortment of miniature ships that were collected from the pre-Minoan era until the nineteenth century. The museum also features some ancient nautical artifacts that are related to the Mykonos’ history of shipping. There is also a folklore branch museum here called Lena’s House. This is an original nineteenth century Mykonian house that is fully restored and includes furnishings. The Boni Mill is one of the area’s most celebrated windmills. This is a sixteenth century windmill that is overlooking the village on the north-eastern part of the town. This mill has been carefully preserved and is fully operational. It also displays its traditional wood-burning stone oven.
